Overview
Selim is a partner and the head of the Firm’s Corporate and M&A practice. He advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including:
- Structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions,
- Assisting with corporate financing and refinancing, as well as guiding clients through company takeovers,
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex contracts and agreements,
- Structuring management incentive packages,
- Establishing and maintaining securitization vehicles,
- Drafting and advising on shareholder agreements,
- Assisting clients in obtaining business licenses (autorisation d’établissement),
- Ensuring compliance with Luxembourg corporate law and regulatory requirements, and
- Providing legal guidance on corporate governance matters.
Selim frequently collaborates with clients on private equity transactions and commercial matters, and he also provides legal advice on patrimonial (estate-related) planning and structuring.
Experience
Before joining VANDENBULKE, Selim worked for 14 years in a Luxembourg-based magic circle’s law firm as partner of the corporate and M&A department. He also worked as a jurist for an independent Luxembourg law firm and one of France’s leading business law firms.
Education
- Master’s Degree in International Business Law from the University of Université des Hauts-de- France
- Master’s Degree in Contract Law from the University of Savoie in France
