Laurence Jacques is a partner of the Firm, leading VANDENBULKE’s corporate department. She specializes in corporate and acquisition finance, domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition, venture capital and private equity.

Along with the finance department, Laurence Jacques advises also structured finance transaction with specific experience of advising financial institutions, lenders, investors, alternative capital providers, asset based lenders and private equity funds on borrowings, new lending, restructurings, workouts and enforcements of debt and equity positions.

Working closely with finance department she provides strategic advice in the enforcement process of loan servicers and sellers of loans and mortgage-backed securities and investors owning or acquiring stressed or distressed assets.

Laurence is active in the Business Law commission of the AIJA and is a member of INSOL Europe. She is a regular speaker at the International Faculty for Executives (IFE) and provides internal education sessions to clients in the field of corporate and finance law.

Laurence has been elected as European Legal Expert by Legal 500, nominated and recommended by Chambers Global as one of the best “Corporate/Commercial” lawyers in Luxembourg and recommended and described as “extremely responsive and user-friendly” by various editions of the Legal 500 in the fields of Banking and Finance  and Corporate/Commercial in Luxembourg.

Laurence is admitted in the Luxembourg Bar since 2002. She holds a Master Law degree from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, and the Georg-August Universität Goettingen, Germany (2001).
