In anticipation of German investors’ growing interest in Luxembourg, which is likely to be further encouraged by the new Luxembourg special partnership (KG) and latest European regulatory developments such as the AIFMD or ELTIF, VANDENBULKE has taken the strategic decision to create a German Desk.
Gregor Berke, financial law department, and Tanja Blankenburg, corporate department, both German nationals and both qualified Luxembourg and German lawyers have just joined VANDENBULKE to lead the German Desk at the firm. German business operations will also benefit from the dual support, paralegal and finance, of our German native speakers at VANDENBULKE Corporate + Trust.
Denis Van den Bulke highlights that “to fuel our development, it was time to enhance our reputed three-pronged expertise in corporate, finance and tax with strong German capabilities. Today, our Luxembourg firm is conversant not only with UK, French and Belgian law but also with German law. This diversity is invaluable for our clients who continually ask for more acute expertise in Luxembourg. For VANDENBULKE it is also the demonstration that the firm is ceaselessly on the move!”
The German desk is fully part of the firm and will focus on clients needing specific German drafting capabilities or specific German law knowledge in corporate and finance law.
